Larson's Dedication

I have yet to find a church home in Shreveport. But for the last few months I've been attending the traditional Protestant service at Chapel 1 on base. Chaplain Knudeson is the Chaplain for my squadron so I naturally gravitated to his service. It's different from what I'm used to, but the message is still the same. The members are so sweet and they all love Larson, even when he toots or screams and cries in the middle of the service.

Today Jason, Larson and I went to Chapel 1 for Larson's Dedication. At home we call it a Christening. The congregation was very enthused and came by to tell us so during the meet and greet. I think I've made a good choice in churches. It took me a while, but I'm getting there.

We were called to the front of the church and affirmed that we would raise Larson with the help of Christ and the church.

Later on, Larson fell asleep in Daddy's arms and proceeded to snore for most of the service.

Since I'm sentimental and all, here's the program from today's service. It also happened to be Chaplain Knudeson's last service before leaving for Randolph AFB. FYI, Chapel 1 is the one on the bottom right. The other one is Chapel 2.

They even announced Larson's Dedication in today's bulletin. See???

Here he is with his certificate.
