In July, Shreveport/Bossier rejoiced in the opening of a Dunkin Donuts within a day’s drive. It’s actually pretty close to the base. Of course, I had to partake in this celebration via their Munchkin gloriousness and brought some home. This is Larson’s first taste. His favorite was the chocolate glaze.
A neighborhood church hosted a 4th of July block party. It was just barely warm enough for all of the kids to play in all the water themed toys. They smiled as their teeth chattered.
Larson went up this slide 3 times and each time an older kid volunteered to slide down with him since he would freeze at the top.
Larson doesn’t get Doritos often, so he was chowing down tonight.
Larson loves going under the bridge on our boat rides. In fact, he just loves boating altogether.
This is what a Larson tantrum looks like on a boat.
And back to chillaxin’.
Larson likes riding Emiah’s Jeep.
He decided he wanted to sleep on the floor. This happens quite frequently now.
I ran a 5K mud run/obstacle course in Dallas.
The race was held at a farm.
Before…..
During…..you can still spot me in the light blue shorts on the obstacles. There were about 30 total. I scaled some tires.
Larson walked across the grass.
I slid down into a mud pit. This is the small hill. There was another gigantic one before this one.
Jumped over more stuff.
And hobbled across the finish line.
After.
Larson and I cuddling up while watching a movie.
I helped change a tire on the boat trailer.
This is Larson’s first taste of a S’more. Yum!
Daddy and Larson jumping into the lake.
I was the official picture taker that day. I wasn’t in the water long.
