Larson still likes to go boating.

Larson combing Mama’s hair.
I took Larson to Sci-Port on Labor Day. We got there before the rush. Of course he would find the water exhibit. But he also had fun playing in the boat and the truck.
Larson was invited to a 1st birthday party. He made sand art with Daddy…..
But he still doesn’t like cupcakes or cake.
Fun with Daddy!
Here’s Larson skyping with Lita and Grandpa.
Let’s play cars!
My sister had a work meeting in Dallas. So, I drove over to spend time with her on the weekend.
I had a date day with Larson. I took him to see the 8th Air Force Museum.
While we were there, a friend saw us as she was driving by. She came out to say hello and to take a picture of us.
A few years ago, the museum offered a fund raiser where people could buy bricks to commemorate their military service. We got one for our Granddad and our Uncle Brett. Here’s Larson with their bricks.
Then we came home and made banana muffins.
Soon after the muffins were done, we got a knock at the door. Our neighbor Yvonne stopped by with her daughter, Emiah. Yvonne asked if I would swear her in for another tour with the Air Force! So I swore her in in my kitchen while the kids played in the living room.
At the end of the month I hopped back on a plane to go to work in Minnesota for two weeks. Here’s a picture Jason took that day of Larson putting his Mickey Mouse in time out…because he wasn’t listening.
