Minneapolis

Jason, Larson and I left for Minneapolis on 1 Jul. We drove straight through (ugh!) and arrived here on the 2nd. The drive took about 18 hours since we had to stop quite a few times. Larson didn't sleep as well as we'd hoped and he was pretty cranky once we got here. But, he's a trooper! I stayed here to work at my new unit. Larson is with me, but Jason left to go back to Louisiana. Here are some pics from our first few weeks in Minneapolis.

Larson had a quick indoctrination to Lake Minnetonka.  At first he didn’t even want to touch the water.

Larson picked a flower and gave it to me.  It was from Elena's garden.

We went to a playground close to the house.

Larson likes taking pictures with my camera.  He just points and clicks at anything.  But this one is quite cute.

Larson liked driving the neighbors' power wheels.  I'm pretty sure he wants one for himself.

Larson wanted to get on the boat and go for a ride.

And then he wanted to get out.  Lita had to go rescue him.

And she had to rescue the boat, too, since it was stuck in the weeds.

We found a little tent for Larson to play in.

Larson tried corn on the cob for the first time.

We went for a walk on the Luceline trail.  Daddy had to carry Larson for most of it.  We saw an owl, a snake and a deer on our walk.

I carried Larson for a little while.

Larson wanted to say hi to D-Pa after his trip to Costa Rica.

Larson actually ate pizza.  Pizza!!  And he ate more than one slice!  Usually he just looks at it and says, "Don't want it."  Not today.

We went to see a children's parade, but we didn't stay long since Larson wanted to go home.

Lupe gave Larson a giant teddy bear.  He loves playing with it.
