It's been a busy month since my last post. Following the President's Day weekend, my sister came for a visit. She had a business meeting in Austin. I drove down, grabbed her and she spent a few days here. I have one picture to prove she was here, but I haven't downloaded it yet.
Jason and Larson came to visit me the first weekend of March. They arrived on a Thursday and left the following Monday. I was waiting outside for Jason and Larson to arrive. When they pulled up, Larson was pointing and screaming, "Mama! Mama! Mama!" The windows were rolled up, so I couldn't hear, but I knew exactly what he was saying. Then when I opened the door he squealed and started kicking and saying, "Mama!" again. If only I had his reaction on video. It was PRICELESS!
Jason sprawled out on the floor to relax. Larson followed his lead.
The only place to put Larson's bed was in my closet...it workeed out well!
This is what happened when I came home on Friday.
Hugs!
Larson wanted to help me do my hair before dinner.
Jason took out the trash and Larson had to wait for him by the door.
Here's Larson at dinner. Look at that face.
He actually ate something this time.
The cashier gave Larson a lollipop as we left the restaurant. Here he is enjoying one for the first time.
I took Larson out to play on Saturday morning to let Jason get some sleep. It was so cooooooold, but that didn't bother Larson. We played ball, ran up and down the hill and explored the area.
After Jason woke up, we went to the local YMCA. Jason worked out while Larson and I played basketball.
That night, Larson met a new friend in the parking lot. His Mom is also in training at Goodfellow.
Daddy was throwing the ball on the roof and letting it roll to the ground for Larson's enjoyment. Well, the ball got stuck in a tree and we had to get the broom to get it out. Larson wanted to help Mama take the broom back inside.
Larson and I went to church on Sunday. Afterwards, we picked up Jason and went to the playground. It's really nice!
Here's a video from our day at the park. The first 30 seconds are pretty funny. You'll need the sound on, but basically you'll hear Larson try to do something on his own....and then he needs help.
Daddy woke up. By the way, Larson was pretty adamant about seeing what was in my nearly empty soda can. That's what I was trying to take a picture of.
Relaxing on the couch.
I played Larson's favorite cd on my laptop and turned on the visualization feature, which he really liked.
