Dallas Weekend

So, here I sit at home sick for another day. Every few weeks since spring I've come down with what feels like the flu. It's actually allergies mixed with a little cold. I'm feeling better than I did yesterday, when I managed to stay in bed from 1130 am until about 8 pm. Today I still have a cough, chills, and body aches. Since my meds have yet to kick in, I've decided to add our photos from our Dallas Weekend.

But first, Larson fell asleep in the living room last Thursday night waiting for me to come home. Actually, Jason tried to keep him up so I could see him before he went to sleep. I had a dinner date with a group from base. I did manage to sneak in a hug as I carried him to his crib.

On our way to Dallas.

Half way there, Larson needed some run around time. We stopped at a picnic area designed as oil wells.

Ready for our Saturday in Dallas.

Playing peek-a-boo. He's peeking alright...

Here we are in a wagon at the Arboretum.

Checking out a Tee-Pee.

This is a little pool that leads into White Rock Lake. I'm sure Jason would like me to point out the sailboat in the background. Look, Ma. I'm wearing a bright color.

Oohhhh, shade.

Here's Larson not napping yet.

After he finally took his nap we went to the Ripley's wax museum. I got to hang out with Lady Gaga...

Ben Stiller......

And President Obama. John, this is for you.

Jason walked the line with Johnny Cash.

And I moon walked a bit with Michael Jackson.

Aaaaahhhh!!! Shaaaark!

Hanging out in our hotel room. I think this is before Jason and I devoured our Ethiopian food for dinner. Yum!

Look at this cute, little face...

Larson just HAD to ride the luggage cart. Of course we had to pile everything on around him since he didn't want to lose his spot.

Banana face.

He's supposed to be wiping his face with that.

Blowing kisses! Yes, Mommy is just that awesome.

Look at all of this stuff to keep one kid busy for 3 hours. ONE KID! How do people do this times 2 or 3 I don't know. We had the puppy dog, his ball, his car keys, penguin, even played with the flower I had in my hair.
