Larson's Nana (my Grandmother) and his Auntie Nique came to visit for Memorial Day. They arrived just in time for Larson to be diagnosed with strep throat. He had a fever, but he was playing, eating, drinking and basically normal. He has some teeth coming in, so I figured that was the reason for his elevated temp. By day 2 of his fever, I took him to the doctor just in case since there was a holiday weekend ahead of us. Sure enough, the doctor swabs his throat (that was a challenge) and it came back positive. The last time Larson had strep throat Jason was gone and my Sis came to town...this time around the same thing happened. Jason was in Minneapolis for a friend's wedding (Congrats Bob!). From now on, Jason is no longer allowed to leave when my Sis plans to come visit. We're two for two already.
Then of course I got sick, too. It wasn't strep but it put me down for a day and a half. Auntie Nique and Nana made sure I got some rest.
We did manage to go to the Louisiana Boardwalk, eat out a few nights, do a little shopping and just hang out. It was great having them here. Larson got to know them better and he had fun having more people to love all over him.
