Larson's 9 Months Old!

Larson turned 9 months on the 21st and he has a new skill he wants to show off. A few days ago, I put him down for a nap, since I needed one as well. I heard him whimpering a bit. After a few minutes I went to check in on him and this is what I saw.

He pulled himself up on the crib railing, but he couldn't get down. Of course, I grabbed the camera, took a few photos and helped him down.

Now he shows off whenever he gets the chance.

With his new mobility, Larson gets into everything and feels the need to chase Sandy around the living room.

Unfortunately, he doesn't know what "gentle" means yet so we tend to keep them separated. They do cast longing looks at one another, though.

Here's Larson at the commissary with his new shopping cart cover. Since he's putting his mouth onto everything, it came in handy. And he just woke up. That's why he looks so dazed.

And to promote his new found abilities, we got Larson a walker. It plays nursery rhymes in calypso. He confuses this with his jumperoo and tries to bounce in it instead of walk. We're working on that. But his favorite feature so far is the toucan. He likes chewing on it.
