I left for my Great Plains Storm Chasing Adventure the Saturday before Memorial Day. I made some awesome new friends while criss-crossing the heartland.

Fond farewell!

Jason left for Squadron Officer School two days later, but came back for a visit this past weekend.
John got to spend some quality time with Larson while Jason and I were out of town. Then Elena came to visit before she left for Argentina.
Sadly my Granddad had a stroke in church last Sunday, but a longtime family friend recognized the symptoms and he was off to the hospital in record time. He's doing much better and the doctors expect him to recover in about a month.
I just got an email telling me that my Mississippi State Master's Degree committee feels that I know enough about all of my classes to receive a Pass on my Comprehensive Exam. Yay! One more project and I'm done!
And Larson is trying his hand at solid food. He's a rolling-over, kicking, drooling machine.

And here's a video of Larson.
Whew!!

You have one of the cutest little guys ever. Seriously. He looks soooo confused about that food :-P
